2. Setting Up the Behavior App (Milestone 1)

Behavior takes a bit to set up. We align the app to your behaviors (both positive and negative). We can also work with you to either integrate behavior with your SIS or with your state reporting.

You should schedule time with your Customer Service Manager to complete the steps below.

Download the Behavior App Setup Template

You can make a copy or download the template by clicking on this link.

Explaining the Sheets

Locations

You can define the locations of your school that you will want to track in behavior. Locations can be differentiated by building.

We recommend keeping locations simple. Some examples: Classroom, Gym, Bus, Cafeteria, etc.

Behavior

Define the behaviors you want to track.

  • Behavior Name: The name of behavior
  • Code: A code associated with the behavior. If you don’t have codes, simply use a number.
  • Priority: 0 or 1
  • SIS Reported Code (or EMIS Reporting Code in some situations): The code that gets reported back to the SIS.
  • School Code: Code for the school
  • Display Order: How you would like the order of behavior to appear

Responses

Define the responses you will want to use.

  • Response Name
  • SIS reportable. If you want to report to the SIS, add a 1. If not, add a 0.
  • SIS reporting code (if reported)
  • School Code
  • Display Order

Submit Sheet to the Help Desk
