4. Set Activity Weights (Milestone 2)

Teachers can set 1 level of weights with all their activities by creating categories. If teachers don’t want to use weights, they can skip this particular milestone.

Some schools require weights. Some leave it to teachers. Some decide not to use weights at all.

Weights are often a point of confusion for everyone involved. We recommend clear and repetitive communication on how weights work in grading activities.

How to Create Weighted Categories

1. Click on the Abre Class you wish to add weighted categories
2. Click the “Settings” Tab
3. Create a Grade Category
4. Create the weighted percentage

Weights must add up to 100%.
