6. Partners (Milestone)

Abre’s Partner App connects schools with partners outside of the school. This allows a larger community to support the whole child. Common examples include:

  1. Work-Based Learning Partners (Businesses, etc.)
  2. Tutoring Groups (YMCA)
  3. Mental Health Services
  4. Civic Groups and Places of Worship
  5. Sports Groups
  6. PTOs and PTAs

Partners are most commonly used for Work-Based Learning in the context of CTE.

Sometimes, districts will create “sending districts” as partners for their CTE programs. This gives those sending districts access to their students in a safe and secure manner.

What Can a Partner Do?

A partner can:

  1. Access the Student360 to fully know their students
  2. Take attendance of students attending job programs
  3. Consume district communications
  4. Consume district learning opportunities
  5. Access student portfolios!
  6. Run their own data analysis
  7. Create their own curriculum opportunities and deliver them to students
